It started with a question.
“After a profound personal experience, I stopped trying to “fix” myself and started learning how to understand myself.”
I’m Jamian Khopkar – Jay to most. Head Coach, Mentor, and Founder of Rooted Hearts Coaching. With over 12 years of personal practice, 4 years of active coaching and hundreds of people supported along the way.
That curiosity turned into a deeper exploration of what it means to be human – how we think, how we feel and why so many of us feel stuck despite wanting more.
Over time, that exploration became personal.

02 · THE JOURNEY
That question stayed with me and quietly shaped the way I began to look at life, at people and at myself.
Over time, that exploration became personal.
Until I realised something simple, but important.
“Most of us were never taught how to work with our mind and body, only how to push through them.”
I found myself caught in cycles of overthinking, self-doubt, overwhelm and mental burnout. The kind where you have a million ideas but no clear direction… where you want to move forward but feel paralysed instead.
And for a long time, I kept trying to solve it the same way – thinking harder, pushing more, expecting different results.
When you don’t understand your internal world, it can feel like you’re constantly reacting to it.
But when you learn how to regulate and be present with it, everything starts to change.
After a profound personal experience, I stopped trying to “fix” myself and started learning how to understand myself.
That shift changed everything.
What I Do
I work with neurodiverse individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or inconsistent – helping them build in-house regulation strategies so they can create clarity, reduce anxiety and take aligned action.
This is 1:1 coaching and ongoing mentorship, tailored to how you actually operate – not how you’ve been told you “should”.
This is for you if:
You’re neurodiverse and ready to stop fighting yourself and start understanding how you actually work. All of us are heading to the same destination, each of us just have a unique path to getting there!
Regulate

The ability to follow through without forcing yourself
When you learn to nurture the roots, you’re no longer distracted by the leaves.
We don’t just manage symptoms, we work at the level where real change happens. When you take the proper actions, change isn’t something you have to strive for, it’s a natural byproduct.
You take the first step.
We’ll walk the rest together.
You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin. Book a session and let’s explore what a more supported way forward could look like for you.
